Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter renowned for his vivid and emotive works. Born in Zundert, Netherlands, van Gogh created over 2,000 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, many of which were produced in the last two years of his life. His most famous pieces, such as “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” and “Wheat Field with Cypresses,” are celebrated for their bold colors, dramatic brushwork, and emotional depth.
Despite his immense talent, van Gogh struggled with mental illness and poverty throughout his life.
